European Center for Quality Ltd. is a modern consulting company founded in 2001. The company is specialized in two spheres - development and management of projects under different EU programmes and in development and implementation of international standards for quality management. The company works in close cooperation with a number of foreign partners, among which are educational institutions and universities, qualification centers, non-governmental organizations, consulting companies, etc. ECQ is experienced in training SME managers and employees in the application of different quality standards.

The image of ECQ as a reliable partner is founded upon professional consultancy experience of 12 years in cooperation with municipalities, associations, chamber of commerce, research centers, enterprises, educational centres, NGOs, etc. Since its establishment ECQ has developed, implemented and/or supported the realization of projects for more than 70 enterprises, more than 13 municipal projects and over 15 projects under Lifelong Learning Programme (including centralised key action 4). Currently ECQ consults approx. 20 companies from the ICT and this number tends to increase each year in parallel with the dynamics of the business reality in Bulgaria. Thus, ECQ has direct link to the project target group and will utilize the achieved intellectual outputs.Since 2008 the company has started to participate as partner under Intelligent Energy Europe – as partner under the EGS project (2008-2011), Energy for Mayors and SHEEP projects (2010-2013). All of these projects consisted of more than 10 partners which provided ECQ with rich experience in the practical implementation of international projects in compliance with the relevant requirements of different programmes.

During the first year of the ERASMUS+ programme ECQ has been invited as a partner in more than 20 proposals of which 6 were approved for financing. Currently ECQ is also a coordinator of 1 ERASMUS+, KA2 project – InnoWork whose aim is to create a more innovation-friendly environment for EU micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and increase their business adaptability by providing the necessary training support for performing organizational innovation. The project’s main focus lies on organizational innovation and workplace innovation and it could be seen as complementary to the current project proposal.ECQ is a member of several networks: E.N.T.E.R. - the European Network for Transfer and Exploitation of EU Project Result (858 Members in 36 countries), Bulgarian Association of Management Consulting Organizations (28 companies and 56 individual members), Association "Club 9000" - a non-profit nongovernmental organization aimed to speed up the harmonization of the activities related to the Quality Management in the Bulgarian organizations with the internationally accepted practices embedded in the International Standards (205 members).

European Centre for Quality Ltd. has built a track record of over a decade in the field of development and management of EU-funded projects and EU Programmes, and namely: Lifelong Learning Programme (measures Partnerships, TOI, DOI, KA1, KA4), Projects under OP Competitiveness and Regional development, PHARE Cross-border cooperation projects, PHARE Grant Schemes for increasing SMEs competitiveness projects, Regional development projects. ECQ Ltd. has established a set of good practices and high business standards which the company has always firmly adhered to.

Last but not least ECQ works in close-knit cooperation with a variety of foreign partners, with the inclusion of numerous SME organizations, innovation parks, research centres which serve as a prerequisite for wide dissemination of the achieved project results. The stable relations with these institutions will be also used with regard to the project’s needs analysis.
